Justice and Fairness

I tend to be a kind of paradox of being unforgiving about things like ideas and very forgiving about human behavior. I’m not particularly full of retribution most of the time. I think, in my own experience, I can tell if a person who harmed me as what I’ll call a psychological problem that caused it, even if they do not have a mental illness. (Note: I’m not an expert on mental health. I’m just a practicing human being.) So, my form of justice is rarely about retribution but my philosophical practices are sometimes indeed about vengeance. I am vengeful when it come to the truth. Call it a flaw of character if you want, but that’s how I roll. In my human interactions with folks, I’m not particularly brutal. I am forceful when defending those who need defending and holy hell when defending myself.
