Four Pounds in Five Days

It’s been 5 days since I started my new diet and exercise regimen. So far, I have lost 4 pounds.

I am taking this routine a little simpler than I have in the past. There’s no pressure to lose weight, no external forces weighing upon me to shed pounds. It’s simply something I want to do–and if it doesn’t happen, so be it.

As I said before, I’m much more laid back than I have been in the past. This new-found peace is much more healthy than attitudes I’ve previously had.

Weight Loss And Fitness

I’m in therapy. My therapist makes me do actual work. I get cognitive behavioral therapy. One thing I’m supposed to do is take at least one walk per day. Because it’s been cold, I have stopped that routine. As a result of that and the holidays, I gained a few pounds. So I’m ramping up my weight loss and fitness goals. I re-installed SparkPeople on my phone this morning. It helps me track my calories and exercise. Here’s a before picture of me. Let’s hope I can meet my fitness goals!
