About Me

I’m part scholar, part activist.

I studied psychology and philosophy at Stetson University and took graduate course work in philosophy at the University of North Florida, where I was a teaching assistant and a research assistant for the Department of Philosophy. I am a Member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

This website is a sampling of all of my work.

In my life so far, I have had the pleasure of:

  • Discussing policy issues with governors

  • Corresponding with academics on research issues

  • Co-editing an academic blog

  • Delivering lectures and invited talks

  • Introducing philosophy to approximately 400 undergraduate students

  • Establishing my own home education program

  • Being a research assistant for a book on the philosopher Bernard Williams

  • Helping clients ages 3-18 with mental, physical and social health issues

And more.

In each of these capacities I have developed new skills and used the skills I already had in order to provide solutions to challenges.
